Looking for drivers with trailer pulling and/or waste hauling experience. CDL Class B preferred, but not required. Must pass DOT requirements.

SMART Recycling is looking for a Route Driver in the Charleston area to join our team.

SMART Recycling is a commercial hauling company committed to diverting organic waste from the landfill. We are at the forefront of this rapidly growing industry, and we are looking for leaders to join our team who believe in our mission of sustainability & want to contribute to something larger than themselves.

The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient with the ability to work alone most of the time. They take pride in their work & can provide great customer service. They are a team player with the ability to be flexible when needed.

Due to the skilled nature of this job, you must fulfill the following requirements:

· Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience.

· CDL- Class B (Preferred)

· Required background check & drug test

· Previous experience driving attached trailers

· Ability to work over night, early mornings

· Ability to work Saturday hours (every other week)

· Ability to perform heavy lifting (limited)

· Ability to operate a pressure washer

· Ability to work full-time, flexible hours

· Willingness to go above and beyond to provide great service
