Pay Rate: $21.00 - $26.00 /hourlyLocation: Tracy, CASchedule: Monday - Friday | 2:00pm-10:30pm or 1:30 pm -10:00 pm (occasional Saturday's required)
Job Description:The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the company's quality standards. They will perform various tests and inspections to identify any defects or deviations from specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspects facility and equipment before production begins
  • Conducts ATP and Environmental swabbing on equipment to identify bacteria count
  • Calibrates thermometers
  • Conducts N60 Testing and GMP inspections
  • Records CCP temperature data
  • Completes QC Daily Checklists for all products packed
  • Use of Alchemy System, PowerPoint and/or written SOPs
  • Assists QC Supervisor in maintaining BRC Standards, facilitating third party audits, help manage the school lunch program, and as needed on other projects/tasks
  • Ensures all ACM employees are following prescribed procedures
  • Observes safety and security procedures; Uses equipment and materials properly; Reports potentially unsafe conditions
  • Reads and follows safety guidelines as instructed by Job Hazard Analysis
  • Reviews email and voice messages; Prioritizes daily workload; Responds to questions and solves problems
  • Informs QC Supervisor of whereabouts, attendance, and activities; Proactively identifies problems and potential problems, and offers possible solutions
  • Maintains a working knowledge of and adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Adheres to ACM Policies and Procedures; Upholds and supports ACM’s organizational goals and values
  • Assists other employees as needed for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures
  • Experience using various measuring tools and equipment
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
