We are seeking an Assistant Manger to join our team You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team. This jobs take place across 2 locations - one in Valparaiso and one in Crown Point.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex daily activities
  • Educate public on healthy pet food
  • Train employees
  • Track monthly sales and trends for business forecasting
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Managing inventory

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, and goal driven sales
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Problem solving in fast paced environment
  • Computer skills - technical ability
  • Desire for education and growth in the holistic pet health field
  • Ability to work in Valparaiso location as well as Crown Point location (this is non-negotiable)
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs repeatedly
  • Ability to stand all day
  • Comfortable on a ladder
