Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle electrical systems, diagnostics, and repair. They should be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, and be comfortable with both independent and collaborative work. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge vehicle technologies and contribute to important research and development projects in the automotive industry.
Position Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections, service, and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including semi-trucks and yard trucks
- Manage vehicle parts ordering and inventory
- Conduct on-road vehicle evaluations, including overnight trips
- Install and operate data acquisition equipment on light and heavy-duty vehicles
- Assist with chassis dynamometer testing and fuel cell station compatibility testing
- Compile and analyze vehicle performance data
- Support various testing procedures as required
- Minimum 4 years of dealership experience with a focus on electrical diagnosis
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles
- Experience with fuel cell, hybrid, and electric vehicles preferred
- Hybrid or Electric Vehicle Certification is a plus
- A/C Certification (MACS or EPA)
- Proficiency in Windows, MS Office (particularly Excel), and email
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles
- Willingness to complete the Middle-Class Driver Training program at the Arizona Proving Ground
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a changing environment
- A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus

REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days, depending on customer payment terms.
