Experienced Acoustical Ceiling Installer

JTS is a rapidly growing subcontractor specializing in commercial construction services across the Southeast United States. We focus on serving clients in the commercial market with emphasis on the following project types: Restaurant dining and quick service food.

We are looking for a highly skilled/experienced Acoustical Ceiling Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have his or her own transportation and tools. All applicants must pass a background screening, drug test, and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Install acoustical ceiling grids/tiles in strict accordance with project specifications and design plans
  • Execute precise measurements and cutting of acoustical ceiling tiles to seamlessly fit designated spaces
  • Prepare surfaces meticulously for installation by ensuring cleanliness, levelness, and structural integrity
  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations to meet both company quality standards and client expectations
  • Promptly address any identified issues or defects, upholding our commitment to excellence
  • Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols throughout all installation procedures
  • Ensure strict compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven track record as an Acoustical Ceiling Tile Installer
  • Ability to travel
  • Proficiency in utilizing a range of hand/power tools specific to ceiling grid/tile installation
  • Comprehensive understanding of acoustical ceiling systems and their varied applications
  • Exceptional attention to detail, emphasizing precision and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Physical fitness enabling the execution of tasks involving lifting, climbing, and kneeling
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fasten panels to the interior / exterior framework of building.
  • Previous hands-on experience in acoustical ceiling tile installation.
