AV Rack Fabricator

We are currently seeking an AV Rack Fabricator for a full-time position with our client, a large and successful AV Integrator, based in the Hackensack NJ area.  This position is Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM building AV racks in a comfortable fabrication/warehouse environment.  

 

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment racks
• Install components in racks per drawings and engineer notes
• Connect a variety of wires to devices in racks, which includes crimping, soldering, terminating
• Neatly dress and label cabling 
• Conduct debugging and testing procedures to ensure functionality
• Collaborate closely with engineers and programmers during commissioning process
• Maintain detailed record of inventory used 
• Working in indoor warehouse environment 

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience building and wiring AV racks
• Solid understanding of Crestron and Extron systems
• Ability to test equipment
• Networking connectivity knowledge
