Cabinet Technician

We are seeking an experienced cabinet maker / installer for removal, building, and installing cabinetry in the Portland/Vancouver Metro area, however we are willing to train the right person. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of training or experience in the wood working and/or cabinetry industry.
Primary responsibilities: Remove, repair, construct, and install cabinetry that has been damaged by fire or water. Some heavy lifting and refinishing may be required.
Candidates should be able to:
- Work well with a team and exhibit a strong work ethic and time management skills
- Present a professional appearance to clients
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and co-workers
- Use all basic cabinetry hand and power tools for installations safely and competently.
- Cut and assemble custom cabinetry
- Install door and drawer fronts and related hardware
- Disassemble and remove existing cabinetry
- Lift 50+ pounds
- Have a valid OR or WA drivers license
- Be willing and able to pass a background check and drug screen
A typical day can include, but is not limited to, rebuilding cabinetry, in-home customer service calls including on-site repairs, removal/install cabinetry. Additional duties may include using electric sanders, sanding tools, and/or hand sanding, staining, or painting of cabinets, and occasional pick-up and delivery of cabinets or furniture. Our current work schedule is 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday – Friday, with some OT required, as the needs of the business dictate. We are willing to train the right candidate.
