Key Responsibilities:
- Apply your automotive painting expertise in our Art and Fabrication Department, taking on projects with a ton of variety.
- Design, outfit, and maintain your own spray booth work area, allowing you the freedom to
create and establish an entirely new department.
- Flexibility to adapt to design and schedule changes while maintaining good quality.
- Research new materials and processes to give the designers more options.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive or scenic painting within a repair shop or entertainment environment.
- Strong knowledge of paint finishing systems, including automotive and latex.
- Proficiency in using HVLP, airless, brush and roller application.
- Skilled in body preparation, surfacing, and sanding processes. Metal, fiberglass, plastic and wood.
- Ability to handle shop and spray booth maintenance, as well as material purchasing.
- Adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workspace, reflecting professionalism and
organization.
- Willingness to work longer hours, including nights and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required by project demands.
- Desire to continue learning and staying updated with industry trends and techniques.
