Title: Procurement Clerk - Hybrid
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55413
Rate: $27 - $27/Hour

Description
Regarding experience, someone who has previous or current experience in procurement, ideally with background with order fulfillment and expediting. The principle ofaccelerating deliveries is pretty applicable across most commodities, but ideal candidate would have experience with accelerating raw materials or manufactured partswith suppliers where it involves manufacturing.
Hybrid Role - 3 days onsite / 2 days Remote
Must be a US Citizen
Interview Process - MS Teams followed by Onsite Interview
TOP MUST HAVE SKILLS:
1. Creates purchase orders for the acquisition of materials.
2. Researches, interviews, and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
3. Must have sense of urgency, Good communication skills
4. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for administrative tasks related to purchasing goods and services within an organization.
- Handle paperwork, maintain records, and assist with the procurement process.
- Processing purchase orders, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies.
- Primarily administrative and operational.
- Deals with paperwork, documentation, and coordination.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Typically require basic knowledge of procurement processes.
- Less involved in direct negotiations with suppliers.
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a manager.
