Position Summary

Maintains maintenance systems including PM and work orders. Performs routine maintenance and repairs to Industrial HVAC units and equipment. HVAC CERTIFICATION A PLUS. HVAC and facilities maintenance as required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Preventative Maintenance (PM) system
  • HVAC Industrial maintenance
  • Maintain maintenance work order system
  • In depth technical aspects of machine maintenance
  • Operate PIV and aerial lifts to work on equipment and move equipment throughout facility
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and 6S initiatives
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Essential Skills & Experience

  • HVAC Certification a plus. 2 year college degree in related fields preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in manufacturing setting
  • Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to work as team member or on own
  • Experience with PM systems

Competencies

  • Mathematical ability (add, subtract, multiply and divide), practical application of percentages and ratios
  • Analytical skills necessary in order to evaluate machine/equipment functions
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when diagnosing, inspecting, and checking for accuracy of repairs
  • Ability to unload, transport and place heavy materials weighing up to 100lbs in appropriate locations in order to repair machinery and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic and mechanical schematics and prints.
  • Ability to differentiate color when repairing electrical services with multicolored wires.
