Job DescriptionJob Description

Our Lawrenceville, GA facility is currently hiring a 1st Shift Laser Operator to operate welding machinery software to weld parts together according to BOM.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Checks job paperwork for proper completion of prior operations
  • Uses internal software to navigate welding systems
  • Loads and unloads parts to perform welding operation
  • Verifies parts are correct
  • Conducts inspection of welded parts for defects
  • Trains employees on welding equipment
  • Cross trains and operates other equipment in the cell, as needed
  • Performs ancillary duties as needed. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Skilled with navigating computer screens, ability to read/understand and follow instructions
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
