Welder/Fabricator

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Welder

This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

1. Ability to perform welding duties on various working metal working applications including but not

limited to: stick welding, MIG, Helio-arc,

2. ability to use torches , plasma cutters and other various burning and de-slagging devices in a safe

manner.

3. Complete SOP travelers to document daily activities.

4. Complete daily time card correctly.

5. Interpret assembly drawings.

6. Must possess good welding, mechanical and mathematical skills in daily operations.

7. Ability to operate overhead cranes / forklifts.

8. Follow proper safety precautions.

9. Must be courteous and work well with others.

10. Complete necessary Material requisitions to obtain parts form tool crib.

11. Ability to properly rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead crane.

12. Complete Maintenance Request Forms for items in work area in need of repair.

13. Ability to work with a safety conscientious attitude and report any unsafe acts or area to members

of management.

14. Perform field service work as required.

15. Ability to train new or other employees to perform same job responsibilities.

1. Adhering to all SH&E guidelines and policies within the Company and maintaining personal safety

within the workplace.

2. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, upholding a world-class standard of

housekeeping.

3. Be a safety minded worker who is drug free, dependable, and able to maintain an excellent

attendance record.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

· Self-motivation to identify, analyze and independently work to find solutions to flow issues is

essential.

· Formal education as a journeyman welder is ideal but not required.

· Ability to learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas.

· Excellent judgment and analytical skills including detailed planning and project management.

· HS Diploma or equivalent

· Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.

· Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks.
