Manufacturing Applications Engineer

Job Description

  • Work daily in Esprit
  • Responsible for creating and reviewing numerical control programs for the machining of
    parts utilizing software for revision of existing CNC programs as necessary.
  • Support development and fabrication of machines parts, tools, tooling and machine
    fixtures by the creation of programs to meet customer and internal models, drawings,
    and specifications.
  • Create/Write programming - programs applicable to develop/update machining part
    programs to accurately machine components per CAD models, drawings, and
    specifications.
  • Keep files organized within a PDM system
  • Product, industry, and mechanical knowledge throughout entire process
  • Regular communication with all parties involved in the intensive process
  • Troubleshooting / optimizing all machine programs

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in any CAM software
  • Experience programming Swiss Machines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Retains new information well, and ability to adapt quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
