Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Paver, Skid Steer, or Roller Operator to join our team. As a crucial member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to aid in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating skid steers and/or rollers efficiently and safely, with a strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate skid steers, rollers, or pavers to perform tasks such as grading, leveling, and compacting surfaces.
  • Safely transport materials and equipment around the job site.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow project plans and specifications to meet quality standards and project deadlines.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating pavers, skid steers, and/or rollers in a construction environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in heavy equipment operation.
  • Experience operating other construction machinery such as skid steers, excavators, or similar equipment.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
