Creeler Operator / Production Associate
$13.50 hr (up to $19 per hr with incentives once hired on)
1st shift / 7am to 3:30pm

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an dependable and active Creeler Operator / Production Associate on behalf of our client in Piedmont, SC. 

The Creeler Operator / Production Associate works with creels looms, twisters, warpers, tufting, or other textile machines to change style of yarn or to replace exhausted yarn packages: 

Creeler Operator / Production Associate Essential Duties: 

  • Creels looms, twisters, warpers, tufting, or other textile machines to change style of yarn or to replace exhausted yarn packages
  • Places yarn packages on spindle of creel, according to supervisor’s instructions, color-coded spools, or number on yarn package
  • Threads yarn through eyelet plate (yarn guides) or ties yarn ends to ends of yarn from preceding package to maintain continuous yarn supply
  • Cuts yarn ends from knots, using scissors, and discards yarn ends in waste container to prevent entanglement of yarn while moving through creel
  • Removes old yarn from machines before changing to different size or type of yarn
  • Cleans dust and lint from creel
  • May also repair yarn breaks in creel
  • May also replace yarn packages or spools when faulty yarn appears

Creeler Operator / Production Associate Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing
  • Ability to stand for entire 8 hr shift
  • Ability to lift 40lbs over you head consistenly
  • Dependable and reliable. Be at work and on time every day
