Journeyman Pipefitter

We are currently looking for dedicated and dependable Journeyman Pipefitter’s who have a strong work ethic and are ready to join a team and company that is growing and considers our staff family. You are not just an employee with us, you are part of the Cornerstone family.
Responsibilities: A pipefitter is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for heating and cooling, high-pressure transport, oil and chemicals, natural gas, and more. Must be able to read design specifications, to pull his/her own measurements and field run piping, cut and tack weld pipes & fittings, perform routine inspections, and lay pipework.

Tools a Pipefitter Needs to Be Able to Use:

Pipefitters use acetylene torches, grinders, welding equipment, pipe bending & threading tools, and pipe cutting machines. They also require personal hand tools for carrying out their work.

Settings We Typically Work In:

CIS, Inc. is a heavy industrial company that works in refineries, natural gas distribution, construction, and manufacturing industries. We work in hot and cold areas, to include inside and outside in the elements.

NCCER certified preferred but not required

Paid Holidays:

Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

Per Diem: $100 per day if the job site is 60 miles or more from your residence.

Vacation:

(1) one week for 1-2 years of continuous employment
(2) two weeks for 3-5 years of continuous employment
(3) three weeks for 6 years and above of continuous employment
