HVAC Helper (Commercial Installation, Sheet Metal, Piping, Refrigeration)

Savannah GA

AdKore has a need for HVAC Helper for Installation and Sheet Metal  in the Savannah area. This is a temp to permanent offer, not project based so the need is for a local Helper, someone within driving distance or looking to relocate to the Savannah area. 

Monday - Friday; 8 - 10 hour days. Permanent opportunity.

Helpers must be versatile enough to work with all types and sizes of duct and HVAC tie ins. Must have ability to do commercial install work on duct and units as well as piping installation.  Ability to learn, follow instructions and complete work.

This position requires the following:

  • Assist the Journeyman Sheet Metal / HVAC Mechanic
  • Help Lay out work
  • Hang/install/connect duct
  • Tie in and finishing work
  • Work efficiently and safely, follow OSHA standards
  • Assist with the Installation of HVAC equipment, duct. (Set curbs, DOAS units, rooftop packaged units, ductwork, VRF equipment, kitchen hoods, grease duct and make up air, air curtains, exhausts, wall heaters, etc.)
  • Ability to work alongside and follow instructions from the Foreman.

Requirements

  • Have all PPE
  • Must be able to work from lifts
  • Have reliable transportation and be dependable enough to be at work every day, on time.
  • Be able to pass drug screen
