Job DescriptionJob Description

Beloved and well-respected healthcare organization is seeking a long term temporary, possible temp to hire Medical Records Assistant. If you are warm and caring with a genuine interest in helping others, this is the job for you You will coordinate/communicate with clinicians, obtain documentation, compile and maintain accurate patient charts and provide general medical office support. EPIC experience is highly preferred.

• Duration: Temp to hire
• Schedule: M-F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Location: 100% Onsite in San Mateo, easy access to public transportation
• Pay: $22 per hour
• Background: Clear criminal background check prior to start

The Medical Records Assistant will:

• Request informed consent, history, and physical, lab records
• Communicate and coordinate with clinical team to maintain accurate patient records
• Ongoing patient chart maintenance
• Provide administrative support, Data entry

The Medical Records Assistant will have:

• Prior healthcare or medical office experience is required
• 1+ years recent administrative support experience.
• General understanding of medical terminology
• Able to work independently; self-starter
• EPIC experience is highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
