Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining the beauty and health of landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, fertilizing, and maintaining outdoor spaces to ensure they are visually appealing and healthy. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in creating beautiful, well-maintained lawns and gardens, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing using various types of lawn care equipment.
  • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides to lawns and landscape plants following prescribed safety procedures and application techniques.
  • Conduct basic maintenance and repair on equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Engage in planting, mulching, watering, and maintaining flowers, trees, and shrubs.
  • Diagnose and treat pests and disease issues in lawns and gardens.
  • Work with clients to understand their lawn care needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules, client interactions, and treatment applications.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant maintenance.
  • Ability to operate various lawn care tools and machinery safely and proficiently.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to creating beautiful, well-maintained outdoor spaces.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Training or certification in horticulture or related field is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • The role requires physical activities such as walking, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
