Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCore Project Management is looking to hire a Rotating Equipment Specialist / Mechanical Reliability Specialist for a long-term project in Westlake, Louisiana.  The objective of the Rotating Equipment Specialist is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of production facilities at the lowest life cycle cost.  This role is responsible for the execution of major preventative/predictive programs and corrective maintenance solutions as they relate to rotating and mechanical systems and their associated equipment.  The ideal candidate for this role should be comfortable working independently and making technical decisions or recommendations while in the field.

Primary Responsibilities

·         Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute major equipment maintenance, overhauls, and inspections - including corrective, preventive, or predictive tasks - for large industrial mechanical and rotating equipment including but not limited to:·         Centrifugal, Reciprocating, and Screw Compressors·         Centrifugal and Positive Displacement Pumps·         Synchronous and Induction Motors·         High-Speed/Low-speed Gearboxes·         Develop expertise in GE Frame 7 Gas Turbines and Siemens Steam Turbines, and apply this knowledge to efficiently perform daily responsibilities.

Required Experience

•        5+ years experience as a Millwright, with a strong interest in career advancement.•        Strong rotating equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills – using tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and laser alignment.•        In-depth knowledge of Lubrication Management, including understanding how lubrication systems operate, their functions, troubleshooting, contamination control, and the proper documentation of lubrication management practices. Preferred Experience

•        Proficient in preventative and predictive maintenance of industrial mechanical and rotating systems and equipment. •        Skilled in performing precision alignment of rotating equipment using lasers or dial indicators. •        Experienced with precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. •        Knowledgeable about industry standards, safety procedures, and best practices for rotating equipment operation and maintenance. •        Strong communication and teamwork skills. •        Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. •        Self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks effectively with minimal supervision, and proficient in documentation and record-keeping. •        Experienced in using computers and standard software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office, email). Desired Experience·         Previous experience as a Supervisor or Lead Millwright·         Experience with GE Frame 7 Gas Turbines and Siemens Steam Turbines.·         Experience in developing and implementing reliability programs.
