Technical Project Manager.- Seattle, WA 

  • Requires a mimimum of 4 years Technical Projec Coordinationt/Management Experience 
  • Project Timeline - June 2024 - December 2024 
  • Monday-Friday - 40 hours
  • Must be ok with local travel 

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT Field Services projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Travel may be required to oversee project deployments or meet with clients/vendors.
  • Assist with logistics for equipment and facility readiness.

 

2. Resource Management:

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and optimize utilization.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor resource allocation and adjust as necessary to mitigate risks and address project constraints.
  • Conduct training and orientations for project resources.

3. Risk Management:

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Proactively address issues and obstacles that arise during project execution, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on track.

4. Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and enforce quality standards for IT Field Services deliverables, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
  • Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  • Capture lessons learned and best practices to inform future project execution and improve organizational processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in IT Field Services or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and systems integration.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
