Job Summary:
The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring, following established protocols and procedures. This role requires a collaborative approach, working with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best patient outcomes.
- Schedule: M-F 9A – 6P (no weekends and no on-call)
- 10.5% annual bonus paid monthly base on KPI’s
- Relocation assistance can be provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health, develop care plans, and administer treatment.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas PA license
- +years of Family/Adult Physician Assistant experience
- +years of PA experience, preferably in [specialty area: ortho]
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Graduation from an accredited PA program is required.
- Certified PA (PA-C).
- Licensing: State licensure is mandatory to practice
