We are looking for a highly motivated law clerk to join the firm’s busy practices areas. Candidates with excellent research and writing skills, as well as great interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Screen clients for eligibility
  • Conduct preliminary and subsequent interviews with clients
  • Conduct factual investigations and analysis and legal research
  • Under the supervision of staff attorneys, prepare documents and correspondence, including complaints, answers, memoranda of law, briefs, articles, and reports
  • Assist in or develop case theories and strategies for the representation of clients
  • Participate in hearings, trials, and conferences

     

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated and ability to multitask
  • Extremely organized
  • Eager to learn
  • Flexibility

  • Prepare legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs and discovery
