Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Print Manager to oversee our print production operations. As the Print Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire print process, ensuring high-quality output, and meeting production deadlines. This is a key leadership role within our organization, requiring strong technical knowledge and excellent management skills.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the print production process, including pre-press, printing, finishing, and packaging
- Oversee a team of print operators and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure that all print jobs are completed accurately and on time
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure consistent output
- Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure artwork is print-ready and meets client specifications
- Monitor inventory levels of printing supplies and materials, placing orders as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in printing technology
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of color management principles and techniques
- Proficiency in operating printing equipment such as CNC machines, screen printers, and other specialized machinery
- Familiarity with typography and graphic design principles
- Ability to fabricate custom printing solutions to meet unique client requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Experience with forklift operation for material handling purposes
- Knowledge of print advertising strategies and best practices
- Proficiency in machining processes related to print production
