We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our organization This individual will co-teach in a mixed age classroom, plan and present child-centered activities for children ages 2.9-5 yrs.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social emotional, cognitive, and creative growth
• Create a fun, nurturing and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Use positive behavior models to prevent challenging behaviors
• Establish and maintain positive engaging relationships with students and families
• Communicate with families on students daily activities and perioding developmental assessments
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• At least a associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children and teaching social emotional skills
• Ability to build rapport with children through engaging positive teacher:child interactions
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
