Wavecrest Management dignifies itself in being a solely family owned and operated company alongside taking pride in authentically caring for their employees. Wavecrest, at present manages multiple properties across all boroughs in New York City and is continuously growing at a persistent rate. That said, Wavecrest is currently seeking to hire a Superintendent for one of our properties located in Various locations; The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens.

Superintendent Job Summary:

The successful Superintendent at Wavecrest Management will first and foremost be extremely reliable, pro-active and have superior customer service skills. This position requires a responsible individual who can commit to being at work, being at work on time. and who has specific working knowledge Previous experience with supervising staff, working with vendors, and scheduling repairs.

​​​​​​Job Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proven knowledge of boilers, compactors, pumps, sprinklers, and overall building maintenance.
  • Previous experience with supervising staff, working with vendors, and scheduling repairs.
  • At least 3 years’ experience with residential building operations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 5 years of Superintendent experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
  • Affordable housing experience a plus, residential experience required.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Must be upbeat, polite, courteous and tactful.
  • Superior Customer Service skills required.
  • Proven ability to operate selflessly as part of a dynamic team.
  • Proven ability to multi task.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment.
