Job DescriptionJob Description

Palmer Group needs an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a contract-to-hire assignment. You will be designing heavy-duty vehicle components that are functional, reliable, and cost-effective. If this sounds like the role for you, apply today to be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor entry-level engineers, designers, or technicians collaborating on a shared project
  • Conduct engineering analyses, design or redesign components, and develop them for both existing and new vehicles
  • Maintain clear communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and external resources regarding technical matters
  • Provide support for integrating and executing vehicle and component designs
  • Enforce the appropriate use of engineering criteria and drawing standards
  • Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
  • Oversee the preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 3+ years of experience

Work Model:

  • On-Site
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
