Panel Wirer

A local company with a facility in Wixom, MI is currently seeking several full-time Panel Wirers for direct hire long-term opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Panel Wirers looking for a company that offers excellent management, training, competitive rates, and work-home life balance. 

Panel Wirer rates are expected to be in the $20 to $28/hour range based on each candidates experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, and 401k.

Qualified Panel Wirers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Panel Wiring field 
• Be able to read electrical blueprints and schematics
• Wire electrical control panels and devices for automation projects
• Have a solid understanding of electrical components including breakers, disconnect switches, starters, relays, timers, overloads
• Have solid familiarity with wire sizes, drilling and tapping, and layout of panel conduit, transformers, CT's, relays
• Be able to use basic tools including knockout punches, jigsaws, hole saws
• Familiar with wiring 24V, 120 V, 240 V, or 480 V panels
• Knowledge of electrical hardware and software for automation equipment, conveyors, and material handling is a plus
• Job setting is in a climate controlled and air conditioned shop environment
• Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered)
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background drug screen, and references, etc.
