Job DescriptionJob Description

A Wide Web Flexographic Press Operator with 5+ years experience is needed at our Dalton, Georgia facility responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses. They play a crucial role in the printing process by ensuring the quality and efficiency of the printed materials. This job requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Setup and operation of press: The operator is responsible for setting up the press according to the specifications of the job, such as selecting the appropriate plates, inks and materials. They must also ensure that the press is running smoothly and make adjustments as needed.

Monitor print quality: The operator must closely monitor the print quality throughout the production run. They need to check for any imperfections or issues that may affect the final product, such as misalignment, color variations, or ink coverage.

Perform maintenance and repairs: To ensure the press operates at its best, the operator is responsible for performing regular maintenance task, such as cleaning, lubricating and replacing worn parts. They must troubleshoot and fix any mechanical or technical issues that may arise during production.

Ensure safety and compliance: The operator must adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. They should also follow all quality control procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications
