Ideal candidate has vertical construction experience and is open to learning land development

Job Duties:

1. In the absence of the Superintendent, answer questions regarding the schedule whenever possible.
2. Assist the Superintendent in inspecting homes to ensure all construction meets or exceeds the established quality standards.
3. Develop good working relationships with all trade contractors and suppliers.
4. Ensure adequate safety precautions are taken in all phases of the project to protect the lives and health of workers and visitors.
5. Maintain updated knowledge of all plans and specifications.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
2. High School Diploma.
3. Minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience.
4. Minimum 1-3 years working for a fast paced production homebuilder.
5. Possess excellent communication skills to deal with all inspectors and subcontractors.
6. Must possess strong and professional code of ethics.
