Maintenance Technician

The Apartment Gallery is looking for two experienced Maintenance Technicians. In this position you will service two of our apartment communities. One is in Wrightsville, PA and the other is in Ephrata, PA. The idea candidate will live in the Lancaster area.
Position Summary
In this critical role for the residential community, you will maintain all physical aspects of the buildings as well as general apartment maintenance on a daily basis along with the grounds. You will participate in the apartment turn-key process, service requests, and preventative maintenance programs. Chosen candidate will contribute to the organization and inventory control of the Maintenance Shop and other storage areas, apply all safety standards and practices associated with maintenance operations, and effectively communicate with residents, vendors and other employees.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and experience coupled with diagnostic and repair skills for trades such as appliance repair, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting. Be able to perform essential physical qualifications and possess the ability to work long/flexible hours in inclement weather and emergency situations such as snow removal, excessive heat, storms, etc. and participate in the on-call rotation with inconvenience pay included. Must provide your own hand tools, be able to prioritize/schedule work assignments according to the property needs and ensure an outstanding level of customer service. EPA Refrigerant Certification and HVAC service experience sought for this position.
A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation are all conditions of employment.
