A local company with several manufacturing facilities in Livonia and Redford, Michigan is seeking several Fabricators for Long-Term opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Fabricators who are looking for a company that offers excellent growth, job security, competitive rates, good work/life balance, and premium rate overtime.

The position is full-time and long-term with starting pay rates between $25 to $30 hourly based on experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We also offer paid overtime at 1 1/2 after 40/hrs. per week and excellent benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with matching, profit sharing, and more

Qualified Fabricators will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• Fabrication experience with custom / prototype builds, assemblies, with ability to fabricate precision engineered structures and machinery from scratch.
• Read and interpret blueprints, 3D CAD drawings, troubleshoot build issues and work closely with engineering.
• Able to assess and determine appropriate equipment and methods to fabricate with.
• Must MIG Weld and be able to position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly/tacking and/or welding.
• Ability to operate shop tools/machinery: shears, presses, saws, drill press, grinders, cutting torch, manual mills/lathes, rigging equipment and cranes.
• Use of precision measuring tools (calipers/mics/height gauges), squares, scales, and fixtures.
• Must be authorized to work in the US, and complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
