A multinational company with a facility in the Sterling Heights area is currently seeking a full time Jr. CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer for long term opportunities with their growing team.  These are exciting opportunities for recent Mechanical Engineering graduates with some CMM Programming /  SPC /  Quality experience looking for an excellent company they can continue to grow and develop in their career.

Jr. CMM Programmers / Quality Engineer rates are anticipated to be in the $22-$30/hr. range based on each candidates experience and education.  All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate.  Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours.  We offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays.

Qualified Jr. CMM Programmers / Quality Engineers will have most (if  not all) of the following skills and experiences:

• A BS in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or closely related education is strongly preferred.  Associate degrees / Certifications are welcome with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Solid CMM setup and programming skills are a strong benefit.
• Strong familiarity with statistical analysis (SPC), blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Knowledge of CNC machining and metal processing is a strong benefit.
• Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
