This role is a great opportunity for someone with prior experience in property or building maintenance. This position reports to the Director or Property Management and the successful employee would have the opportunity to enjoy a long career path with plenty of room for growth.

Duties may include but not limited to the following: lifting heavy loads, cleaning, organizing and running errands such as getting supplies at the local hardware store or big box. etc. Responds to trouble calls and emergencies, resolve electrical, plumbing, installations, service, prepare rooms/areas for work activities.
Leaving the job site with a clean and orderly appearance
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance. Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling. This individual will also be coordinating and corresponding with owners, board or director members and owner, so professionalism and communication is essential.

Tasks may include items such as:

Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses

Drywall Repair - small to large scale repair
Light fixture installation and removalInstallation and minor repairs of appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers,
and dryers
Toilets, sinks, vanities, and disposalsPaint, drywall repair and/or replacement and caulking
Minor carpentry repairs
Window screens and blinds
Interior and exterior doors
Stucco repair
Removing bulk trash (including appliances)
Clearing drains and sewer lines up to 4'

This is a roving position at work sites throughout San Diego County. Qualified candidates will need a driver's license, auto insurance, a reliable vehicle, and standard tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders

Candidates must also pass a background check, be a legally able to work in the US, and speak fluent English.

You should be able to work independently and be good at problem-solving. As a maintenance tech, you should have basic experience and knowledge in carpentry, flooring, painting, plumbing and electrical work. Once the job is complete, you must follow up on your work to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Prefer someone with a GC License

Superb customer service track record
Effective written and oral communication
Experience in maintenance and/or construction is necessary

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
