We are seeking an experienced pre-press operator to join our team The successful candidate will be responsible for processing the files received by customers for printing. This is to include- File pre-flighting, file processing, generating proofs, preparing files for plating, and making minor edits to customer’s files to provide the best product possible

Daily Responsibilities:

- Work with customer service to prepare supplied files for proofing and production based on customers instructions

- Create job tickets and prepare artwork for offset printing

- Utilize pre-press techniques for printing preparation

- Build press gang-runs that are the most efficient and cost effective

- Apply graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite

- Maintain high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Some graphic ability and pre-press experience

- Must be willing to work overtime as needed

- Must be a team player

- Skills in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite

- Familiar with imposition and print workflow software

-Must be willing to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm)

- Must be able to work unsupervised and with a team
