Job Summary: We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using ADP Workforce Now and managing multi-state payroll processes. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. This position offer a hybrid schedule with 2 days on-site. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for multiple states using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Handle payroll-related tasks including deductions, benefits, garnishments, and taxes.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and reports for compliance and audits.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll integration.
  • Update and maintain payroll system configurations as needed.
  • Assist with year-end processes including W-2 preparation and distribution.
  • Stay current with payroll regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Strong understanding of multi-state payroll laws and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
