Job DescriptionJob Description

PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking motivated and qualified CNC MACHINE OPERATORS for a manufacturing client located in Monee, IL.

  • 1ST SHIFT: 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri
  • 2ND SHIFT: 2:30pm-1:00am Mon-Thurs

$20 per hour

JOB DUTIES:

  • Under minimal supervision, set up and operate CNC machines in skilled precision
  • Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
  • Use precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
  • Properly and safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
  • Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling
  • Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous CNC machining experience (at least 6 months to 1 year of educational or on-the-job experience)
  • Able to accurately read, interpret, and follow blueprints
  • Experience using precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment REQUIRED
  • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug test and background check
