Job Description: As a Technical Support and Repair Technician, you will play a critical role in providing outstanding customer service and resolving technical issues for our customers. You will handle incoming support calls and emails, troubleshoot equipment problems, and determine the appropriate course of action, whether it's providing assistance over the phone or conducting repairs at our repair center. If you have a passion for electronics, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn, we will provide you with the training and support you need to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support over the phone and via email.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify replacement parts as needed.
  • Take and process replacement part orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform basic repairs on returned units, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and requests.

Requirements:

  • Experience in soldering and mechanical aptitude preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work on foot for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight] pounds.
  • Must be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable mode of transportation and willingness to work in-person at our Woodstock, NY location.

Experience:

  • Soldering: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Mechanical: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 2 years

Work Authorization:

  • Must live within 30 miles of Woodstock, NY.
