Job DescriptionJob Description

Labor Solutions is seeking an experienced Fitter for an extremely busy fabrication and machine shop. We desire motivated individuals who are quality-minded and strive to get the job done.

Pay: $20-$29/hr. depending on experience.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM 

Sunday – Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM 

 

Fitter Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform all welder functions as necessary.
  • Measure, cut, and install pipping and supports.
  • Lay out and assemble subunits for welding. 
  • Operate off various blueprints and schematics. 

Fitter Requirements:

  • Fitting experience should pertain to fitting structural steel. 
  • Able to read and understand blueprints effectively. 
  • Able to fit complex, large structures by drawing / blueprint. 
  • Able to identify weld joints per drawing and mark structure accordingly for weld out. 
  • Mig welding and Flux Core experience are preferred.  
  • Structural Welding.
  • Air Arc experience.
  • Torch/beveling experience.
