Job DescriptionJob Description

Overview

The Lead Installer/Service Tech is a hybrid position for retrofit residential, new homes PV/ESS installations and service work. This position will have administrative duties and require training of other teammates.

Requirements

  • Install PV and ESS systems efficiently that meet local and state codes

  • Layout and install racking, modules, and electrical equipment per plan

  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment

  • Assist with routine maintenance on energy systems

  • Manage time and tasks effectively

  • Commission PV and ESS systems to ensure safe operation

  • Review inventory to maintain the correct stock levels

Qualifications

  • Vocational or technical school training preferred

  • Experience in roof work, general construction, or carpentry preferred

  • Ability to safely handle power tools, hand tools, ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, lumber, roofing materials, and more

  • Ability to work outside in extreme environments and at heights. Repetitive duties include lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time

  • Able to work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces as needed

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance

  • Travel is mandatory and will vary depending on business needs. Employees must be able to travel up to 1 week at a time.

  • Must be 21 years of age with a Valid driver’s license required
