Essential Duties & Responsibilities (According to Department assigned)

  • Loads and unloads product with a Clamp Truck from trucks or containers in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Breaks down and separates incoming shipments.
  • Moves products to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stacks and stores the merchandise in the appropriate area.
  • Operates materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.
  • Able to operate necessary technology to include scanners, computers, etc. as required.
  • Picks orders for shipment and assembles various types of merchandise (appliances) to be shipped. After being given a copy of the pick list.
  • Station the picked order in the assigned area stated on the pick list print-out.
  • Counts or verifies freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
  • Assists in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical operating parts. A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are hot or cold (seasonally) and noise level can be moderate to high.
  • Essential Requirements: To wear safety glasses while operating the forklift.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand sometimes in excess of 10 hours and use hands to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The environment is fast paced, and employees are required to perform safety practices while operating the Clamp Equipment (propane clamp forklift).
  • Fill out a Clamp Lift Inspection Checklist Daily before operating the Clamp.
  • Occasionally change the Clamp forklift propane when it needs to be refilled (inside the Warehouse) using the OSHA approved PPE provided by the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be Bilingual.
  • Required power industrial equipment, RF scanner, computers, printers, or other technology needed.
  • Wear company and warehouse PPE: Photo ID Badge, Neon (Orange) Safety Vest, and safety glasses while operating the Clamp Forklift.
  • Must have experience operating the Clamp (will be tested prior to attending orientation and start working at Pantos)
  • May perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking for shipment as needed.
  • Ability to understand and follow processes and procedures as trained.
  • Have +2 years’ experience.
  • Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift
