Job Title: Event Setup and Breakdown Crew Member

Job Description:
We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Event Setup and Breakdown Crew Members. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient setup and dismantling of party rental equipment for major events, including weddings, corporate functions, festivals, and other large gatherings. This position is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks with rental equipment, including tents, tables, chairs, stages, lighting, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Assemble and install event structures such as tents, stages, dance floors, and other temporary installations according to client specifications and safety standards.
  • Set up tables, chairs, linens, and other furnishings as per the event layout plans.
  • Install and test lighting, sound systems, and other technical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean, in good condition, and correctly positioned.
  • Assist in the decoration and final touches to create a polished and aesthetically pleasing event environment.
  • Provide on-site support during events for any adjustments or troubleshooting as needed.
  • Carefully and efficiently dismantle and pack equipment after events, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly stored.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, both at the event site and in the warehouse.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in event setup or a similar labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Reliable transportation to and from event sites.
  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
