Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Leader on behalf of our client, a leading metal manufacturing firm. This role is crucial in driving safety excellence and environmental compliance. Familiarity with Aluminum processing or hot metals a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Deliver engaging EHS training.
  • Develop and implement safety and environmental policies.
  • Maintain EHS records and conduct audits.
  • Cultivate a culture of safety awareness.
  • Lead incident investigations.
  • Manage environmental compliance as it relates to hot metals facility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health / Safety or a related field
  • 2-5 years of EHS professional experience administering EHS strategies and programs in a manufacturing operation.
  • Be a self-motivated EHS Professional
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and computer skills including a high level of comfort in developing and delivering training and motivational presentations to all levels
  • Strong working knowledge of Industrial Safety (OSHA) regulations
  • Working knowledge of Air Water, and Waste regulations
  • Ability to assign priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems
