Residential Drafter

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously: Juggle various projects without compromising quality or deadlines.
• Review project specifications for accuracy and completeness: Ensure all project requirements are thoroughly understood and met.
• Develop original drawings for projects: Create innovative and accurate designs from scratch.
• Maintain knowledge of all building codes: Stay updated on current building codes and regulations.
• Provide team with accurate and detailed drawings: Ensure all drawings are clear and comprehensive for team use.
• Promote a positive and professional image: Represent the company positively in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, illustrations, sketches, diagrams, schematics, and conceptual and working drawings of residential homes.
• Convert architectural concepts into detailed drawings using computer-assisted drafting and design software.
• Collaborate with external trades and engineering professionals to achieve design goals.
• Adhere to project schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary materials.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
