Job DescriptionJob Description

It is the responsibility of the apprentice to assist the lead in installing new HVAC systems correctly and in a timely manner. The install apprentice mostly relies on instructions and pre established guidelines to perform the functions the job but may work independently for a short period of time. Will work under general supervision.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Work safely following company policies
  • Help the lead installer on the jobsite
  • Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job
  • Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors
  • Properly fill out paperwork required for each job if applicable
  • Any other assigned duties as directed by leader or management
  • Must have, or be able to acquire, tools needed to perform job
  • Maintain a professional company image
  • Disassemble, reassemble HVAC equipment, and complete full commissioning.
  • Test electrical circuits or components for proper functioning.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to perform installation of unit.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Work flexible hours as required.
