Our client in Covington is seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join their team. As a Cable Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of security systems for our clients. If you're proficient with measurements, can read blueprints, mechanically inclined, and adept with hand and power tools, we want to hear from you
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair security system cables and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Perform precise measurements to ensure accurate installations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools proficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Test and inspect systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cable Technician or similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in measurements and reading blueprints.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
