Job Overview:
Entry Level Position as a Paint & Prep Assistant, typically performs manual labor.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 Sanding of parts and components by hand, orbital, and scotch-brite.

 May be required to track and control inventory and usage of paints, and other hazardous materials.

 Use of proper PPE as prescribed by manufacturer SDS’s shall be observed.

 Use of common hand, and air tools.

Minimum Qualifications:
 Must have good mechanical aptitude.

 Must be able to follow all work instructions.

 Auto body experience helpful, but not necessary

Education:
 High school diploma, GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:
 Must have the ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift heavy objects (50 lbs.), for extended periods of time.

Full Job Description:

Paint Helper Job Summary:
Performs all prep work for the refinish and assembly process.

Essential Functions:
1.Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from part surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, brushes, or sandblasters;

2. Assists painter in pre-paint blending needs;

3. Works with paint team to assist in keeping parts on track for scheduled delivery time;

4. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties
