LANDSCAPE INSTALLERS - KING / PIERCE COUNTY

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Starting pay is $20 to $23 per hour. Pay will increase to $30 to $35 per hour upon being converted to a permanent employee.

If you have experience in turf installation, sod installation, retaining walls, hardscaping, French drains, fence installation, deck installation, or sprinkler systems, we want to hear from you

Requirements:
- Skilled and experienced in turf installation, sod installation, retaining walls, pavers, French drains, fence installation, deck installation, and sprinkler systems.
- Proficient in operating landscaping machinery and equipment.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Own truck, tools, and machinery preferred but not required.

- NON-NEGOTIABLE: Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Execute various landscaping tasks including turf and sod installation, retaining wall construction, hardscaping, French drain installation, fence and deck installation, and sprinkler system setup.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to complete landscaping projects.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Competitive Pay: $17.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

- Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and safety programs
- Production Line Duties: Stack and bag newly extruded products at the end of the production line
- Quality Control: Understand and communicate customer quality and packaging requirements
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe production area and keep accurate production records
- Material Handling: Recycle and/or store regrind material as instructed

Qualifications:

- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
- Flexibility: Ability to work any of the available shifts on your feet
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication in a noisy environment
- Performance: Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and meet physical demands
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear appropriate PPE
- Screening: Must pass a 7-year criminal national background check and a drug screen
