Key Responsibilities:
- Billing Management & Recordkeeping: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of billing claims for home care services and maintain billing records ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collections & Dispute Resolution: Manage collections for outstanding balances and resolve billing discrepancies, working closely with insurance companies, patients, and other stakeholders to resolve payment issues.
- Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and changes to ensure all billing practices adhere to current standards, regulations and payer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in home care or hospital billing and collections.
- Strong understanding of medical billing codes, payer regulations, and reimbursement processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing sensitive interactions with clients and insurance representatives.
- Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Associate's degree required, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
