CMM Programmer

TekPro is a leading direct hire recruiting firm dedicated to matching exceptional talent with prominent companies in the automotive and aerospace manufacturing industries. We are currently recruiting for a talented CMM Programmer for our client near Roselle, IL.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Shift:1st shift
Location: Hanover Park, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update CMM programs using engineering drawings and models
• Engage in Metrology-related projects
• Partner with engineering and production teams to address measurement-related challenges
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinating with maintenance and OEM as needed
• Work alongside other programmers to implement industry best practices

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in CMM programming
• Proficient with Zeiss Calypso software
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, with a solid understanding of GD&T
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Experienced with manual inspection tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, thread gauges, profilometers, and pin gauges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
